Training Programs
MCAAA Training Programs are designed to build the Community Action Agency (CAA) network's capacity to provide services to low-income individuals and families throughout Michigan through effective planning and outcome management. A variety of activities and technical assistance is used to support CAA's ability to be responsive to the requirements and interests of the low-income community. This allows CAAs to effectively use their peer network to help them build capacity to track and monitor their low-income customer base, complete their Results Oriented Management and Accountability (ROMA) reporting requirements, and respond to the needs of the low-income citizens in their service areas. The resources needed to accomplish these CAA goals above will be given through MCAAA Conferences (three main conferences a year), CAA Orientation, special topic workshops, as well as Board, Leadership, Networking, Website Maintenance, Publications, and individual/regional CAA training sessions as requested by the CAAs. MCAAA will also continue to assist CAAs by providing support in the areas of marketing, public relations, and other areas as needed.
