RCAP Programs
MCAAA coordinates these grant-funded programs that provide direct technical assistance to small, rural, low-income communities. MCAAA and our CAA members are dedicated to making communities more responsive to the needs and interests of the poor through the use of leadership, information, and advocacy. MCAAA has worked closely with various communities around the state to address their water & sewage needs. RCAP projects provide training and technical assistance in developing and managing community facilities in rural areas that help low-income rural communities develop the capacity and expertise to establish and/or maintain needed community facilities. This includes safe water and wastewater treatment facilities, increasing community capacity-building skills, and assisting in developing community leadership.
