• I have served as the Executive Director of the Human Development Commission for 26 years and, previous to that, as its Fiscal/Deputy Director for 6 years.
• I have participated in Pratt University's National Internship in Community Economic Development and achieved the status of Certified Community Action Professional in 1994.
• In addition, our agency developed a for-profit subsidiary of which I have been CEO for 14 years.
• I have served as the President and Secretary of the National Community Action Partnership, Board member of the National Community Action Foundation, and President of the Michigan Community Action Agency Association. Currently,
• I serve as Treasurer of the Mid-America Community Action Agency Association, member on the Great Lakes Rural Network Board, member of the Community Economic Development Association of Michigan, and Chair of MCAAA's Legislative and Housing Committees.
• Since 1983, I have been providing training/consulting in the following areas: Business Venture Development, Community Economic Development, Housing, The Mission of Community Action, Board of Directors Training & Development, New Executive Director Training & Development
